Rubber injection mould is used for parts made of rubber material. It is ideal for the production of small sized parts as it is a precision manufacturing process. The usage areas of rubber parts are machines and mechanical parts.

Rubber injection moulds are frequently used in the manufacturing or printing industry. When you want to make a rubber mould, the processes to be followed are as follows:

● The design is made in the computer program.

● Metal mould is produced in accordance with the shape of the rubber parts.

● The mould is connected to the injection machine.

You can make mass production with injection machines. Although the injection mould collection stage is costly for manufacturers and manufacturers, it has proven to be one of the most profitable sectors when mass production is started afterwards.

Rubber Mould

Rubber injection moulds consist of two parts, the upper and lower parts. These two parts are held together with the help of a press. Rubber raw material is injected into the rubber injection mould.

The injected raw material is heated and melted. With the pressure, the desired rubber product takes the shape and is cooled. The cooled part is taken out. This process can produce up to 5000 rubber parts per day.

When using an injection mould, it is important to note that the rubber raw material is completely filled into the mould. In order not to take risks in the filling process, it can be overflowed. The overflowing parts become waste material and can be easily cleaned. After each use, the machine is cleaned, maintained and covered.

Rubber Injection Mould Design

Rubber moulds are designed by experts in computer environment. Depending on what kind of product the customer wants to produce, injection moulds are sized and shaped.

At this stage, it is necessary to give full and correct information to the designer. Subjects such as whether the product has a pattern on either side of the product or bright on the other should be determined with the right measurements. Rubber mould gives shape to the product.

During production, the rubber raw material must be preheated. Rubber moulds themselves do not perform the heating process. Injection moulds are produced from steel metal due to its durability. Due to the stainless feature of injection moulds, they can be used safely for many years without losing their functionality.
